Screenwriting : Quarterfinalist in New Voices in Animation by Pidge Jobst

Pidge Jobst

Quarterfinalist in New Voices in Animation

We celebrate with millions of sports-crazed fans throughout the country and around the globe who we think would enjoy seeing an adult sports-animated comedy series about battling couples and their fanatical obsession with sports—including our late team member and Mad Magazine artist Mort Drucker who did this sample drawing for us and the proposed series—our "DAWGHOUSE" cartoon placement in the "4th Annual New Voices in Animation Contest." We love our new Quarterfinalist laurel wreaths!

Congratulations to all the animation writers and winners!

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations to you, Mort Drucker, and the team, Pidge Jobst! My condolences to you, the team, and Mort Drucker's family.

Pidge Jobst

Thank you, Maurice. Mort was a joy to work with, and as famous and known as a fellow cartoonist can be in this world, he never showed it and was one of the least tinselly art celebs I knew. He was intensely gracious.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Pidge Jobst. It sounds like Mort was an incredible guy.
