Silence in Film (not silent films)

Good Afternoon

Grumpy Old Man here again. Sometimes, actually a lot of the time these days, I just want people to stop waffling on. We all know and love scenes where nothing is said, I have three that I love here:

1. The Sicario Border Crossing Scene

2. The Opening to Once Upon a Time in The West (in fact Leone in general)

3. The final scene in The Conversation

Do you have any favourites or have you written any scenes where characters JUST SAY NOTHING....???

Maurice Vaughan

Good afternoon, Aaron Lumley. I've written scenes where characters don't say anything. Sometimes it's a scene where characters are angry at each other, a farewell scene, an epilogue scene, etc.
