Successes

Can one of you wise minded souls help me understand the specific rules about posting something success related? I am assuming that the Stage 32 success stories is for work, jobs, awards that have come by virtue of Stage 32? Hence, if you won, let's say an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, it wouldn't go there. Or, I assume here either. But rather, on your wall? Thanks for clarifying, 'O mighty writerly family! :) Hope all of you are staying safe and hopefully finding time during this unusual period to write and create.

Beth Fox Heisinger

Yes, it would go there, and it would probably go on your wall too. Plus you'd probably blow up all your other social media as well, no? Lol! :) The section "Stage 32 Success Stories" is where to place posts about any film industry-related award or success achieved by a Stage 32 member. It is not limited to S32 specific successes like winning a S32 screenwriting contest or getting hired through a S32 job posting, but, certainly, those things are celebrated and shared there as well. :)

Ah, thanks, Beth. So, if I won a little tiny award that is generally meaningless, but wanted to share it with the universe on the Stage 32 Success Stories wall, assuming that would be okay.

J.B. Storey

Jack Sprat that made me laugh out loud!!

Beth Fox Heisinger

Yup. Hey, if a tiny award makes your day then why not share it!

Beth Fox Heisinger Oh boy... be careful about taking my leash off.... I'll celebrate just about anything!! But seriously, thanks for the words of wisdom. Much appreciated.

Isn't in funny about life...I'm dying for an Oscar now, but will probably get it in the period of my life, I wouldn't care less....like at 86 when I'll be battling cancer and my kids over heritage...probably won't even appear at the ceremony... :)

Morbid example I know, but the point was successes follow us through all time, just we sometimes hardly give them significance along along our struggle.
