So I just flew into town yesterday on a one way ticket from JFK. Checked into a flea bag on Sunset and have my first meeting set up on Thursday. Looking to expand my network.

You know, I read Sanaah Lathan, for one, went to L.A. with $700 to her name and stayed there until she made it as an actress. In L.A. $700 is like 700 pennies. The cost of living is crazy. I take my hat off to people who cast fate to the wind and go for their dreams. Best of luck to you, man! I'm rooting for you.

Thank you CaSandra! Yeah, I'm doing it! I didn't start off w/much more. Came out w/$1100 and already down to $800. Everything is expensive! Staying in a flea bag motel for $90 a night. Tried couch surfing dot com and air b&b. I need to find a roommate fast!
