Hey guys! So I am working constantly. However I have my ups and downs with a steady income with being in this industry and not being part of the Union, which I am not even sure would help me with my situation anyway. So right now I don’t have the funds to use platforms like stage 32 to pitch my scripts to producers. I am thinking to create a website with my unsold scripts for sale and try free promoting... has anyone else tried this? I am open to suggestions ☺️ Thanks, Luna

Hi Luna, I haven't posted anything for sale but I did create a website with wix showcasing samples of my work and I created an IG documenting updates on any of my work and competitions that I've entered. Instagram proved more helpful to me, it's how I found Stage 32 and a few network professionals have discovered my profile. Still a long way to go but it's a great start. wish you the best!

Luna. I never did that but I did send out query letters and called producers and agents and that worked for me pretty well.
I know a Dutch guy who's doing something like that and I will follow in his footsteps. If you have interesting stories and story bibles it can be interesting for some parties to buy up the rights. Make a good presentation for your website and cover as much grounds as you can, so that the buyer has a lot to choose from. Only selling a synopsis is for instance not enough.
Great website Marjolein. Kuddos.

How will people find your website? This is passive, when you want active. For no money you can e-mail producers a query. Subject line: script title and genre. Contents: logline, brief bio on why you are the expert, and maybe an opening sentence or two on why you have selected this specific company.
This is a numbers game, so you will send out thousands of these and get some reads and then it's up to the script.
