Written Pitch Sessions

Can anybody give me an example of what a great 1-or-2-page written pitch for a Happy Writers pitch session should look like?

Tony Cella

I believe Beth Fox Heisinger, a moderator for the forum, has an example of a written pitch with a sample. Try contacting her.

Beth Fox Heisinger

Yup, I have written pitch templates. They're simple and straightforward. They are the same templates made available by Happy Writers. I'm not aware that they have new or updated versions? Perhaps? Erik? Matt? Sadie? ...Anyway, give me your email address through private messaging and I'll send them to you. Or perhaps reach out to Happy Writers and inquire. Either way. ;)

Marcus Leighton

Thanks for asking. I've been meaning to ask that question for a while now. Beth would you mind if I contacted your for those templates also?

Beth Fox Heisinger

Sure, no worries, Marcus. I'll send you a network request. :)

Hi Cody & Marcus - you can shoot a quick email to writerhelp@stage32.com, and we'll send you our pitch documents for both film and TV! In the meantime, you can also check out a great Pitching Fundamentals class we offer over in our Education section: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Pitching-Fundamentals-Tools-For-Every-P.... Best of luck! Beth, thanks for your help!

Hi Cindi, this is a two-year-old thread.... but the Stage 32 Pitching Guidebook is found under "Script Services" located in the upper menu bar, then click "Pitch Sessions," then scroll down to the very bottom of the left-side column, and there you'll see the download link. Hope that helps! :)
