Elevator Pitch ~ A short film that endures

So, it all started way back when... that was when Stage32 member, Rutger Oosterhoff reached out to me to pen a screenplay concept he had. Rutger has a strong sense of story and this concept... about an Amish man meeting the devil in an elevator and needing to strike a deal before hitting the bottom floor, sounded fun and made a lot of sense. We got to work and created ELEVATOR PITCH. Well, recently Rutger submitted the film to Festival de Bretagne in France. And we won Meilleur Scénario (sort of like best screenplay) in their Les Films du Monde block. How very cool!

We have an eye looking forward for the perfect production situation for another script I wrote for him: ON THE VERGE. Imagine the exposes of Nelly Bly being told in a most exotic film!

Stay tuned!

Doug Nelson

Sounds an awful like 'Devil' - Universal Pictures & M. Night Shyamalan.

Phillip E. Hardy, Prolifique

This is a good one. Rutger and Philip are both very talented people.

We try to be Phillip!
