Networking WORKS on Stage 32!

A Fable of Firewalking - article by Jussta - Audio by Noelle Messier Noelle Messier and I met on Stage 32, and networked. She is a voice-over artist and was looking for samples of things to record. I offered my article entitled, A Fable of Firewalking. I absolutely love her voice recording, her voice, inflection. I want everyone to know how talented she is! Thanks to Stage 32 and RB for offering such a great site to connect with creatives. The web page has the written text and the audio of Noelle's recording. Please, give it a listen and post comments! This is a small excerpt of the text. "One dark night a very, very long time ago as one of our forefathers hid in a cave, he witnessed lightning striking a tree, igniting it. Pulling back in fear, then cautiously moving out of the darkness of the cave, spurred on by curiosity, this caveman stood in wonder and awe as he witnessed the tree burn, stepping back, repulsed by the heat, stepping forward, attracted by the light and the dancing flames. So began man's relationship and dance with fire. As our forefather picked up broken branches and sticks and began banging (click sticks) them together to frighten away predators, we can imagine him squatting, listening attentively, and distractedly rubbing the sticks together. Lo and behold! Sparks went flying from the rubbed sticks falling onto a pile of dried leaves, igniting the leaves. It wouldn't be long before our elder would try to stomp on the top to 'stop' it and discover, that burns! With grunts and groans, and much display of blisters, the caveman would convey his new knowledge of the power of necessity and experience that taught our forefathers the great energy or the great destroyer!" Much more at link - and, of course, the entire recording! Enjoy! http://www.jussta.com/a-fable-of-firewalking.html
