I had the chance to go for a meeting with producer and ASU Film School founder Miguel Valenti. This occurred when I was in LA for the Beverly Hills Film Festival after I pitched to Mr. Valenti on the phone. I was so nervous when I first sat down, but he was so warm and friendly that those feelings immediately went away. He had incredible feedback and thoughts on my script and took a great deal of time with me. Before departing, he said he would be happy to help me any way he could. That was quite unexpected. Most producers I know are not that helpful unless they are a friend. I have been bouncing ideas off of Mr. Valenti since that day. I don't know if everyone will have the same incredible experience with Mr. Valenti, but if you get a chance to pitch to him, TAKE IT! He really does want to help aspiring writers. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions about my experience. Hats off to Jason Mirch and RB Botto for getting such a great producer for their pitch sessions!
