Thanks for sharing this. Pretty sure that's where we are heading anyway. The only question is will it be on Twitter?, just Twitter or a host of other social media sites? Youtube show live events for example. Facebook is also a great candidate because (arguably) your more connected to friends and fans on Facebook. At least that's my impression, I find a lot more noise on Twitter. Voting like this I find a bit scary btw, all too instant. Also have you looked at Twitter polls for Politics? They tend to be skewed and an unreliable guide to what is about to happen. (I refer to the UK General Election here specifically).

Most welcome Steve.. what this points to is change as you know and I agree about Facebook especially when it comes to the overwhelming success of the video views.
Cheers Jonathan. They've really pushed video on Facebook haven't they? Feeds with auto-playing video and the ease of making and uploading all contributory factors I'm sure. It's a fascinating Battle between Youtube/Google Search and the rest of the world as far as I'm concerned.
