Interesting. Contacting them to see what they are up to. A first red flag is they are using a free wordpress theme and haven't been able to replace the Wordpress favicon in favor of their own...

Following up here. Watched their videos and contacted them. They are very unprepared and unfocused, with some muddy idea about monetizing video content on NFTs to fund an enormous business center that promotes only "family friendly" content that keeps children from video and social media. I doubt anyone can help them because I can't see that they even know what they want to do.

Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq - thanks for testing it out and sharing your experience! Sounds like they have a lot of work to do.

Aye, here here @Shadow ! Really appreciate your vetting this one. The "family friendly" label is the first red-flag. Just shrieks ALT-RIGHT in my books.

Morgan Aitken I don't see anything wrong with family friendly. Problem is they use the phrase without even attempting to define it, as if it means something. They don't seem to have any actual understanding of what they are asking. Nor do they seem to know that creatives need to be paid... nor could they answer how or where they would create, promote and maintain NFTs...

The trouble with 'family friendly' Shadow, is it's use as a content filter. I'm thinking my family wouldn't fit the definition.

Morgan Aitken I suppose, but again they haven't even indicated what they mean by the term and we all filter our content anyway, right? I have so many content blockers on my browsers that I haven't seen a popup advert in literally years. I filter out alt-left, alt-right and mainstream propaganda in most of my media as well. There are lots of sources of media that refuses to conform to imposed narratives and who won't marginalize voices just because someone official wants to silence it. On the flip side, I don't have an issue with people wanting to promote their own ideas either. As creators, that's what we all do, and as creators, when we attempt to silence anyone else's voice we lose the moral right to use our own. Doesn't mean that we have to participate with them or watch their stuff.

It all comes down to labelling, @Shadow : Labels, by their very nature are exclusive. And Family Friendly isn't actually a genra. I also agree that LGBTQIA (whatever) isn't a genra either, but discriminatory. Len and I got into an ugly row with Amazon over this. And instead of exclusionary labelling under the guise of genra, why not content descriptors: not suitable for children, contains scenes of whatever, then let the consumer decide.
