I love this! How fun! What a challenge to tell a story over time. I love twitter.
Linda.. you should install Periscope if you love Twitter.. I follow an inspirational speaker that's been doing Periscope broadcasts to his followers and there's a way to record and post them. I'm also curious what if anything you know about transmedia
Wow Jonathan, I just looked up Periscope. So interesting. As for transmedia, I believe that is the place to be. It is not only our future, but where we should be now. Thank you for the information.
This shows that you realize change is inevitable. I would suggest you research Transmedia to learn. The difference between linear storytelling and Transmedia is vast though it's often used prior to a film release or as brand extension for those already in theaters. Transmedia is focused exclusively on the audience EXPERIENCE rather than those of the characters. Gamify the story, invite participation, spread to other revenue generating platforms and expand rather than contract. Film while creative is limiting in many ways as is TV.
I have have been watching story world building and Transmedia for awhile. I love that it brings the experience to the audience in other ways, and I think it is powerful.
Yes very powerful. I become one of the 15 million followers generated by the "Why So Serious" campaign 42 Entertainment created and launched 15 months ahead of "The Dark Knight".. Simply amazing what can be done. I sent you a PM also.
I just looked up "Why So Serious" campaign 42. Wow! I can't get enough of this stuff. This will connect the world. I love it! Thank you for all the great information.
Good to hear. You're unique in this community with a few exceptions. I would also take a look at the episodic video game, Life is Strange as well as the new interactive documentary, Do Not Track. Bellyfeel, UK founded by Krishna Stott is worth signing up for his weekly emails. I've chatted with him and he's amazing. Also check out Mike Jones' blog down under
How fun! Thank you! I appreciate it.
Most welcome.. thanks for showing up and the interest.. this is a VERY small community within the Stage 32 site as you can see
Wow... Do Not Track is something else. It is so interesting! Bellyfeel has great information. I am following them on Twitter now. Have a great day Jonathan.
Thought you'd dig it.. I just replied to your email also.
I am inspired again. A few years ago I had a transmedia plan for my book Aggi. I will bring that back. : ) I just retweeted a few great articles on the transmedia on Twitter. LindaScarlett@ZotBakingCo
