About Marcelli

I am a Brazilian filmmaker based in London. I was graduated as a journalist but slowly realised that I love telling stories. I have a passion for film and I thought would be great to share my thoughts with a worldwide audience. It could be a documentary or a film.

I never imagined I could make a film but when I had my first idea and decided to film it I understood what that means. It was important to surround myself with the best technicians who helped me with skills that I don’t have. Film making is not remotely glamorous, it’s hard work but once is finished it feels that I could do more and always better.

So here I am, showing to the public my improvements as a filmmaker and sharing my ideas with you.

Unique traits: Positive attitude and flexibility make things happen. :-)

The path of an artist is different for each person but for all of them there is something they have in common: It is worth it. Abner Harris The first character is the fine artist Abner Harris. He emigrated to the UK from the east coast of America in the late 90's and set up studio in London. His work appeared in Mike Leigh's film 'Happy Go Lucky' and his most famous client to date is the Led Zeppelin founder and guitarist Jimmy Page, who commissioned a piece for his wife. In recent years Abner has exhibited in London, Budapest and back in his hometown of Boston. In this short documentary he shows the process of his painting, from the very beginning all the way to the art fair. Abner also explains how he balances his artistic life with the time he spends with his family and welcomes us to explore his self-built house.
