SHOWREEL: Digital Colorist 2015

Being a no-budget filmmaker usually means that you have to learn / do the workload for most, if not all production and postproduction roles... I've been providing the Colorist work for all of my previous projects since I was at college, admittedly not with a massive amount of technical knowledge, but by just going off of what felt right for the project that was placed in front of me, but since I began professional film work, I have strived to improve my technical know-how as well as my eye for dramatic and emotional aesthetics. I recently earned my first IMDB credit working as a Digital Colorist for a short film called Sunshine by Scottish writer / director Michael Tracy, and the experience of working with another director and working towards their goals really inspired me to put together a showreel in order to make more contacts, get advice on how to improve my Colorist skills and get paid work doing a part of the post production process that I thoroughly enjoy. All of the color work that I have completed has been done in After Effects, I am however learning DaVinci Resolve as we speak in order to be using a piece of software more optimized for colorist work, so if you are a filmmaker looking for a Colorist, you enjoyed my showreel and would like to have a chat about a project, email me @ loftworksdigital@hotmail.com Thanks & have a great one, Anthony Pearce All of the footage that is in the showreel are free to download test footage samples from some of the best digital film cameras including; Blackmagic Production Camera, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, RED Mysterium X, RED Epic, RED, One & Canon C100
