Put Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil in the same body and out comes Dr. Vicki Victoria. A world renowned talk show host with a flare for the unusual. This film was a result of the 2011 Washington DC 48 Hour Film Project. On April 29, 2011 Renee', my wife, and I drew the genre "Mockumentary" out of a hat. We than had 48 hours to write, cast, produce, direct, shoot and edit a short film no longer than 8 minutes TRT. It starred Janet Jones, Eric Lewis, Yolanda Rose, Steve Garrett, Rachelle Lynn, Zack White & Kelsey Saunders. Ironically, we were shooting directly across from the White House while President Obama was giving the orders to take our Osama Bin Laden. We actually completed the film within the first 36 hours so we started enhancing the film in post-production. Renee' and I did not sleep for 48 hours straight. We ran on PURE adrenaline. Unfortunately, on the way to deliver the final film, we were diverted from our usual route due to the activity at the White House and we arrived 90 seconds beyond the time limit to deliver. This made us ineligible to win any awards but we did get screened at the AFI Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland. I highly recommend doing a 48 Hour Film Project to test your skills. Hope You Enjoy!
