Dramatizing the soviet air women of world war ii | Preston Poulter

In attempting to put together a comic based on the life and time of Soviet Fighter Aces Lydia (Lilya) Litvyak and Katya Budanova I gave a panel discussion at Austin Wizard World / Comic Con on October 31, 2015. I didn't have access to the comic artists who did the work, so I hired two actresses to play out selected scenes. It's one of those cases of doing the best with what you have, but I feel that from humble beginnings will come eventual success. In many ways, those two women are my inspiration to never give up.
