I MADE THIS VIDEO BECAUSE WE ARE TEARING EACH OTHER APART AND IT NEEDS TO STOP! I know it’s always great to get all warm and fuzzy during the holiday’s and to be full of love, light, giving and sharing, but I think that is possible to do it every day of the year. That’s what “The Art of Active Networking” is and has always been about. #MyGive4 is also about sharing with you 4 ways you can give to others each and every day! You hear me speak at our events about how much we struggle. Each of us struggle daily. Some with illness, some with death, some with trying to find a job, some with bullying, and others with health. We have a lot of problems, we live in a world that continues to bomb, kill, divide and hate. We MUST work together and stand up to all of this and I believe that kindness and giving are the tools for that. I simply wrap it in a networking event because it is an easy way to gather you together. Finally, you ask me at every event what I need and I always say, I need you to bring more people and to spread the word about the events. A few of you do, most of you don’t. So that is what I need, not for me but so that we can offer this network to even more people. If we help more people to do a little better then it grows, if enough of us band together in #MyGive4 and move into a state of giving we all win. Maybe we kill fewer people, we abuse each other a little less and we all finally try to stop seeing difference and we work to find common ground. Next week we celebrate with our annual cookie exchanges and holiday events in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Orange County. Then I take badly needed holiday break and go home to Kansas to see family and friends. Then in 2017, I will go full throttle, and see how I can continue to do my part for you.
