KHAJURAHO: THE SPIRITUAL AND NON-EROTIC PERSPECTIVE OF THE EROTIC TEMPLES Here is a video about the famous temples of Khajuraho. Once again, I am thoroughly impressed by the deep-rooted spirituality and the enriched cultural heritage of India. And once again, I can see how the true essence or purpose of something can be either misinterpreted or twisted. The temples of Khajuraho are mainly Hindu and Jain and depict approximately 10 percent of the so-called erotic imagery. This video is a compilation of the travelogue videos and still-footage from my trip to India in 2018. Juxtaposed with some real photo imageries, computer artworks, and maps, this film briefly tries to cover the History, Eponym, Themes, Architecture, and the Non-erotic perspective of the so-called erotic imageries of the five temples (through a few examples). The film does not claim to depict or cover the complete analysis of these temples. Enjoy!
