In any business endeavor it is critical to "get the word on the street" and it's extremely important to do so. How else is everyone going to know about your business and service? Indeed, the vast majority of businesses benefit from the the traditional "scattershot" approach of broad spectrum TV/Radio/Billboard/Newspaper/Magazine marketing to reach their clients. It's a time-tested tradition - advertising Works. But the Voice Over industry is far more targeted and very specific - marketing/advertising agencies, videographers, casting directors, and talent agents are my clients and it is through them that I reach the end-client. This is why you don't generally see advertising for Voice Over services in fact because I market myself and my services to the Marketers themselves.
