Seeta was born in London, England. Although she is known to millions as WPC Datta in ITV's The Bill for which she won the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress Awards, Asian Film Academy, this popular actress made her stage debut as Cassandra in the original London production of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's CATS.
