When Caren's co-worker, Debbie, accompanied by her daughter Sarah, arrives for dinner, Caren's children, Rodney in particular, is taken aback when he learns that his mothers dinner guests are white. The mood is pleasant until race becomes the subject of the evening, from which a huge debate between Rodney and Sarah ensues, causing a great deal of awkwardness and discomfort.
