The psychotherapist (my first film!!) | Cristal McLaughlin

From the Producer James Dimitratos: "The Psychotherapist" is a thriller I wrote and directed during a very difficult time in my life. My Mom was dying and my girlfriend bailed out on me. This film is based on the actual events which shattered the world as I knew it. This is the story of my experience with two women who changed my life forever. First there was Nadine, whom I loved dearly though she broke my heart. The other was Dr. Madison Price, a therapist I trusted to help me cope with the loss of my beloved Nadine. Dr. Price became obsessed with my happiness. She orchestrated a nightmarish reunion between my ex and I. This "psycho" therapist tried to help me in a most disturbing fashion. "The Psychotherapist" is a twisted tale of love, obsession, and murder. I am very fortunate to have known Dr. Madison Price and lived to tell about it. I knew others who were not as lucky. I want my short film to garner interest from industry professionals who want to collaborate on a feature length version of my film. I will shoot the film in a documentary style similar to "The Poughkeepsie Tapes". The film will be a thrill ride with moments of sheer terror in the vain of "Silence of the Lambs". The feature length version of "The Psychotherapist" will be my "Halloween". The movie will become a signature film in the horror genre.
