The Art of Producing requires the ability to find resources, and some of the most powerful resources you can bring to a film are sound and music.
Join us this evening for a discussion with a composer/orchestrator, a sound engineer and a musician. See what you can do to create an outstanding soundtrack for your film.
Johnathan Sacks has been a composer and orchestrator for 30 years. He has orchestrated films such as Mr. Holland's Opus, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2 & 3, Seabiscuit, Meet the Fockers, About a Boy, Monsters Inc. and many more. What does Hollywood have to teach the independent filmmaker when it comes to film composition, music production, and sound design?
The purpose of this meetup is to address the fact that filmmaking is a business as well as an art (and science and technology). Successful filmmakers realize that it takes exactly as much effort, energy, and investment to market, distribute and make money with a film as it does to make the film. This group is designed for those independent filmmakers who realize that a network of like-minded go-getters is necessary to get projects completed with financial and critical success.
Hello Joanne how you doing today?
