First meeting of Fall 2018

About the meetup

Well, it's the first week of Fall. I am ready for cooler weather and the start of the holidays. Lots going on in the acting community locally. Movies are starting to be filmed and some are finishing up. The Web platform for Media Forge is chugging along. The invitation for film submissions is still open. If you would like to enter your project into the contest and get some free distribution, please go to my facebook page and find the post for submissions. I'll re-post it for everyone. 

 Deward and crew will be filming a war film project soon around DFW. Silhouette the movie is being funded and filmed as we speak. Please contribute if you can on Indiegogo. Other projects are being planned in our area for next month. Also, R.B. Botto, CEO of Stage32.com, is having a free webcast blog meeting on the blog site. You have to register to participate free.  With Halloween coming up, I think a horror film would be a great project to start up. Bring your ideas to the meeting and we'll see what we can do with them. Bring an actor/creative friend with you. See you there.     

About the group

The first 'Stage 32' actors meet-up group serving Dallas and Ft.Worth actors and crew professionals in the area. Meet-ups with our group will help to find opportunities for our members and further the film industry in and outside of the Metroplex. We will maintain a listing of available talent in our group to support project casting and any emergency last minute film crews. Because how many times have we been on a shoot and ran out of background actors or no-shows? We will also try to share the wisdom of our histories on the set. The group may end up being the go to place for directors and casting agents to cast their projects. Please join us and let's see how big we can become together. We can also be a great opportunity to try that new play you've written or that screenplay which is begging to be produced. DFWART is starting, and if you are looking for a group such as this, please contact us. We will decide what would be the best times and places to have our meets when we get a few interested members.
