Apologies to everyone who attempted to reach the Tuscany Casino last night but could not get through. There was a fatal hit and run that occurred in front of the Tuscany Casino at around 2:30 that afternoon. The suspect’s car was located in the Silver Sevens Casino parking lot where he fled on foot. As a result of the accident the investigation closed the portion of Flamingo between Koval and Paradise and Koval between Harmon and Flamingo. Although a couple of members who RSVPed were able to get through, it was decided at about 7:15 that evening that the event would be cancelled since the normal routes of travel to the venue were blockaded. The Las Vegas Screenwriters Group will be rescheduling this screening at a later date.
