How to transition from making short films to making features. What are the obstacles short filmmakers will need to overcome? How does making feature films differ from making shorts? Why do feature filmmakers need to consider the market in creating their films?

Joanne Butcher will give a talk and lead a filmmaker discussion about transitioning from making shorts to making features. Join us for an evening of learning about the world of filmmaking and the business, and of networking with other short-to-feature filmmakers. Narrative, animation and documentary filmmakers are welcome to attend. Also, if you collaborate with filmmakers - actors, composers, etc. - please join us. We can't make our short films without you!!!
