About the meetup
Please join us on Wednesday August 19th from 7-9pm at the McCowan Memorial Library in Pitman, NJ. From 7:00-7:30pm, you can network with your fellow screenwriters and filmmakers. Then at 7:30pm, the craft meeting will begin on Creating Characters. Learn the techniques and conventions for creating memorable characters, including developing character profiles, desires and needs, character arcs, and more. After the lecture there will be time for Q&A.

As an aspiring writer, I'm counting the days down to this experience. Never been to a workshp. Sounds a little scary. I sought friendly advice within my network and was bluntly turned down. Suggested to use coverage, then advised " you don't have to hire me" then "blindly" sent on my way. I'm not a defeatist but I went off Stage32 for awhile to avoid the displayed narcissism I observed and encountered personally. Lesson learnt well. Made me the protagonist, gave me my goal for reaching FADE OUT I need all the mentoring I can get within my limited budget. Thanks for creating the workshops.
