Film pitch meet up. Get ready to pitch your film and or listen to others pitch their screenplays. We will talk a little bit about what we like in the pitches and if anything can be improved. This is a prctice session, but anyone interested in further devlopment can pitch their development idea as well. We will spend some time talking about choosing the right studio or manager to pitch. This is a prepatory meet up so you can fine tune your Stage 32 pitch session. It will help you decide weather you are better pitching directly with the executive through Skype, phone or by written submission. With Skype you will have 8 minutes to pitch your script or reel to the executive. We will work on perfecting the pitch and give perspective on how to have a back and forth with the executive you are pitching to. For written pitches, make sure your pitch is 1-2 pages max. We will start out with an introduction then your project title, movies to compare it to, genre, logline. Spend some time talking about y about yourself and then kick into the story. The rest is up yo you. Make your story sound comical, action filed, or gorry and horrific .This is a chance for Stage 32 writers to come together and make their better, more accessible and get it in to the studio. Anyone wanting to pitch their film or idea may do so and feel free to talk about past experiences. New writers welcome, experienced and successful screen writers are encouraged to share their experience. Their are several things to keep in mind when pitching. How to focus on the camera, project your self, and delivering the story to the agent or manager.
