About the meetup
Please join us on Friday June 24th for the evening showing (Time TBA) of Independence Day- Resurgence at the AMC Deptford 8 in Deptford, NJ. After the movie, we will discuss the film over food and drinks at Chili's. Please note, this theater has reserved seating and often sells out in advance. Please try to purchase your tickets online as soon as possible.This is a great opportunity to network and get to know your fellow writers and filmmakers in a fun and casual setting. Additionally, it is common practice among industry pros to see movies in the theater on opening weekends to gauge the audience's reaction. After the movie we will spend time evaluating the storyline and the movie's overall success, or lack there of. Everyone is welcome, including member's guests. Look for us in the lobby before the show starts.
