We are a groups of artists, film makers, designers, musicians, bankers, health professionals, attorneys, business leaders and others from the Startup, Entrepreneur and Founder community! We do our events nationwide and Mark E. Sackett member here and founder is a Kansas City native. Our events are held every 8 weeks in Kansas City! This is the most unique networking event you can attend. This is a group dedicated to helping each of it's members do better. While we are not exclusively for the entertainment business, we have thousands of members worldwide who are members because Mark E. Sackett our founder is a Designer, Director, Producer and Art Director for Film, Music, Television and Advertising. We beleive that by helping others we grow powerful and sustainable relationships. Mark knows that we work with those we know, like and trust, yet this business is about long casting lines, sending endless headshots and using our fingers crossed mentality to connect for an opportunity. But having powerful relationships is so much more critical to success.
We do these events monthly in New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, Orange County, 4 to 6 times a year in Vancouver, Kansas City and select other cities as we are invited.

Tickets are 20$ online and 30$ cash as the door. This charge is only to cover venue and overhead costs and the events are between 35-135 people maximum! Mark makes sure you meet every person in the room and personally attends all events to ensure that!

SO FIRST OF I WANT TO SAY THAT I AM THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU, AND WHAT WE HAVE CREATED WORLDWIDE TOGETHER! It's the start of a new week and we just celebrated our Thanksgiving here in the United States. 8 years ago on Thanksgiving Day I was sitting at my Parents home, as I am now, and was surfing the web, when I came across a site called Meetup.com. I few months earlier I had started this little idea of having a local networking event in San Francisco and called it The Art of Active Networking. On thanksgiving Day I created my first SF Meetup Group and did not think much more about it, when I got back to SF a few days later I had 126 members. I was blown away!!! My events started growing, my email list started growing, and now 8 years later today we have 9 Meetup Groups and over 15,000 Meetup Members. We have over 250,000 people in our combined databases and over 14,000 people have attended in 16 cities and 5 countries. I’m thankful for you and all we do together to help others to do better. We have some awesome events coming up including our 4th Annual Holiday Party and Cookie Exchange in 4 different cities - first Kansas City on November 29th, then San Francisco, December 5th, Los Angeles, December 6th, and Orange County, December 7th.
