The biggest news is that we will be at a different location for the 22nd meeting of our group. We will be across the street in the Dickey's BBQ restaurant at 1801 Ballpark Way(behind 7Eleven) which is across from the old Rio place we were meeting. It is BYOB and I will be bringing some with me(Beer and Wine). The venue is a larger, quieter, and more private area for our meetings.

I was at the Collin County Filmmakers Association meeting and ran into several of our members in attendance there. It is good that everyone networks and shares projects in these mixers and events. We want the community to be inclusive to all filmmakers. The more we do the better we are. Networking is our life blood in this business. Hope to see you there.

The new meetup location is across from our old place, behind 7Eleven. It's also BYOB. I will have some adult beverages on hand.

Hey guys. Well, I thought this day would never come, but my book Crowdsourcing for Filmmakers: Indie Film and the Power of the Crowd is now available. Well, the e-book has been available for the last few weeks, but the hard copy was on back order due to what my publisher called “inventory problems”. Happy Sunday, everyone. Trust you're all having a great weekend?We're still buzzing from what was a remarkable and inspiring day at the Stage 32/LA Acting Studio's 1st Film Con Hollywood. We'll have more updates about and some cool video from the event coming soon. Until then, let's get to this edition of Coffee & Content. First up, how about 2 dudes talking acting? It's Film Acting Tips: How to Act on Camera, with Chris Mack. I love the conversational and relaxed tone of this vid. Almost makes you overlook the great reminders and quality nuggets of info within. Next up, is there anything better in storytelling than a killer antagonist? That was a rhetorical question by the way...at least in my mind.
