About the meetup
Like you, we recognize that at times we ALL struggle! 'The Art of Active Networking' is a worldwide networking group focused on helping you to do better by asking "How can I help you do better right now?"
Join us in any of our cities worldwide, and let us change everything you believe about Networking! We’ll show you how to build powerful relationships through giving using our method of #MYGIVE4. You may be launching your startup, in need of a job or career shift, perhaps you want to get top ranked on Amazon. Sometimes you may just need help walking your dog, or just want to expand your friendships. Our purpose here is to volunteer our ideas, time, resources and money, simply to help one another. You will have an opportunity to speak to everyone in the room, and you will absolutely meet people you might otherwise never have an opportunity to meet. At “The Art of Active Networking”, we ask you to consider offering your #MYGIVE4: 1. Give of your ideas and talent, offer advice! 2. Give of your time, volunteer! 3. Give of your money, donate! 4. Give of your network, through referrals!
Come see why over 15,000 people have attended in 5 countries and 17 cities worldwide! Each event starts at 6:45pm and ends about 9:45pm! (Our events are NEVER more than 135 people!) Tickets are always available on our website or Meetup.com until 6:15pm the day of each event.
TICKET PRICING: Regular Tickets: $20 (Typically for sale on our website or local Meetup Group) Student Tickets: $10 (You MUST have a current student ID) Walk-ins are 30$ CASH at the door until 7:15pm As always Veterans are FREE; we thank you for your service.

We are a groups of artists, film makers, designers, musicians, bankers, health professionals, attorneys, business leaders and others from the Startup, Entrepreneur and Founder community! We do our events nationwide and Mark E. Sackett member here and founder is a Kansas City native. We have three events monthly in Southern California every year. This is the most unique networking event you can attend. This is a group dedicated to helping each of it's members do better. While we are not exclusively for the entertainment business, we have thousands of members worldwide who are members because Mark E. Sackett our founder is a Designer, Director, Producer and Art Director for Film, Music, Television and Advertising. We believe that by helping others we grow powerful and sustainable relationships. Mark knows that we work with those we know, like and trust, yet this business is about long casting lines, sending endless headshots and using our fingers crossed mentality to connect for an opportunity. But having powerful relationships is so much more critical to success.
We do these events monthly in New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Pasadena, 4 to 6 times a year in Vancouver, Kansas City and select other cities as we are invited.

Tickets are 20$ online and 30$ cash as the door. This charge is only to cover venue and overhead costs and the events are between 35-135 people maximum! Mark makes sure you meet every person in the room and personally attends all events to ensure that!
