First Time Feature Fantasies vs Real Industry Money

I recently met a first time producer who told me he needed $2 million to make his first feature. When I looked a little surprised, he confided: "Well it needs to be shot underwater, so it's expensive." Given that I talk to filmmakers all day, I hear this kind of misdirected thinking a LOT! Let's get down to basics with some reality checks about how the film industry really works.RSVP to this Meetup to receive notices for upcoming classesBIOJoanne Butcher has worked extensively with hundreds of filmmakers from the US, UK, Brazil, Cuba, the Caribbean and Latin America.
