After several years of pursuing artist management he took an internship (2005) for Atlanta radio host Ryan Cameron (who gave him the nickname “Mad Mike”) for almost two years including Ryan’s moved from HOT 107.9 to V103. He quickly rose to a high energy DJ who was a favorite among the ATL nightlife crowd whose genuine passion for music and diversified experiences kept party goers coming back for more, which led to the creation of the Southside Party Kings with then business partner Quintin Harps which quickly dominated the party scene on Atlanta’s Southside for more than 4 years every single Friday night was theirs.

He has also used his talent to give back to the community. In 2010, Escobar partnered with “Make-A-Wish Foundation” to fulfill a teenage girl’s dream by turning her written song into a fully produced record. The teenager’s track debuted live on The Ryan Cameron Show with her eventually moving on to work for the radio station.

One of Michael’s career highlights came when Louis Vuitton decided to feature his proposal in their grand opening of their new store in Rome, Italy. “It was very flattering,” said Michael. “Just knowing that my work has reached and touched people on the other side of the world leaves me speechless.” The highlight ran in January and February of 2013.
