Who am I? Yet another nobody who dreamed of becoming a somebody. Doing something that would change the world forever and set my name in the history books.

But life isn't like that. It isn't up to me to take my journey to the world; it is for me to live my life and, if society sticks its nose in and decides it wants a whiff of what I'm cooking, then it'll let me know soon enough. As Norman Lovett quipped to me a week or so ago; I might even be one of those authors who aren't appreciated until they're dead. Well, thanks Norman, but I'd like to be able to clear the mortgage before I die, you know!

The last few years taught me that I'm not mature enough yet. Yes, I have interesting messages, stories and life lessons that are very different to the usual; but now isn't my time. The twelve months between Companion coming out and Grave being sent to the editor have shown me just how far I've come as a writer... and how far I have yet to travel.
