Originally from the Highlands of Scotland Gordon moved to Edinburgh to pursue his ambitions as a film director and studied a BA (Hons) in Film & Photography at Edinburgh Napier University. He was then accepted to study a postgraduate degree at the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art (named in 2015 as the No.1 institution to study film in the UK) where he is about to complete his 2 year Master of Fine Art (MFA) Film Directing . Gordon was recently awarded the highly coveted Prince William BAFTA & Warner Bros. Scholarship for Film to undertake the MFA. He has also enjoyed work experience on location with Harry Potter and 007: Skyfall. His focus is on directing and producing fiction and documentary films which explore the human condition and the complexities of family relationships within a rural context.
