About Mark

Mark Wagner writes fresh and unique screenplays because of the past. When I was nineteen, this bold, brilliant, beautiful witch spread her Tarot cards across his bed. I flipped up “The Fool”. I blushed. She laughed, and promised that I’d be safer than all those kids dancing along the abyss. Since then I have often slid off, and tumbled a while, and even caught hold of a scraggly weed to stare into the terrifying darkness. But I did crawl up from the rock and roll as a roadie, a chauffeur for the wealthy, and a psych tech at Sonoma Developmental Center. Which one was the craziest job, I still don’t know. At least, I skip a good foot away now. And haul my bag of stories to reveal the dangerous edges. Defies logic, that I know.

Unique traits: I discover, then write about the steps of the spiritual quest, according to Joseph Campbell's "The Hero With a Thousand Faces".
