Originally from Ecuador, Fernando "Nano" Lara is an independent film maker living in Salt Lake City, Utah. He started making videos in YouTube in 2010. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Film Productions and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with an emphasis in New Media from the University of Utah in 2014. Now he operates an independent film production company called Fill It In Productions.
He has worked with several local entities such as; Salt Lake Magazine, Lassonde Entreprenuer Institute at the University of Utah, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Feel Good Music Coalition, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, Entremares Online Magazine, Artes de Mexico en Utah, Yoga Rocks the Park – Salt Lake City, Carla Boecklin Photography.
He has worked on several short films and short documentary films and is an award winning director.
