About Naz

Hello my name is Naz Pankey and I'm very passionate about writing and storytelling. I am the author of EVERGREEN UPROOTED, Memoirs of Secret.

In 2012, I earned a college degree in television productions and media studies. I went on to intern and work for NBC's Steve Wilkos, Jerry Springer, and Maury.

I just recently finished my second drama feature screenplay (which received a recommend from script coverage) and I'm currently adapting my memoir into a coming of age drama.

I have a lot of experience in many areas of life which helps me write believable stories. I come from the hard streets of the Bronx, New York. I'm a survivor of rape, domestic, verbal, and child sexual abuse. I've been homeless twice, in a cult, married three times, and haven't reach 40 years old yet.

My goal is to see one of my screenplays on the silver screen. In the meantime, I continue to write and stand in awe of great original talent.
