I am a UK based industry executive, film, documentary and sports/reality TV producer, as well as a content creator and screenwriter, with the odd bit of screen, stage and voice acting thrown in along the way.
I am a co-founder of FourNine Entertainment, which was established in 2014 with offices in the US and the UK, and the company has three distinct business divisions. They are FourNine Productions, which produces sports, reality and documentary content for television. We create original content, as well as working on behalf of clients around the world. FourNine Films, which produces TV drama and feature films. We develop original in house projects, as well as working together with the best of independent cinema, to provide a platform for film makers to bring their vision to the big screen, working in partnership with them, to package, finance and produce their projects, as well as taking options on high quality external scripts. FourNine Management, which is a combination of traditional talent/artist/athlete/writer and model management, as well as providing individual content creators and brands with broadcast quality digital brand/content production for their sponsors and social media channels.
I became involved in the film and television industry through an investment in a production company that focused on the sport of polo, where I organised the financing and negotiated a distribution deal to broadcast major events. I then joined the board of Transvision Media and acted as an executive producer on many of the company's high profile rugby, football, horse racing and cricket events. Transvision was a media technology and broadcast production company, which consisted of an OB division that focused on the production and broadcast of sports and music events, an advertising division that focused on fixed installation and mobile big screen advertising content and a technology division that focused on the supply, installation and operation of big screens for sports stadiums and mobile platforms.
Prior to working in the industry full time, I had a successful career as an executive within the corporate financing and investment banking sector, as well as a more interesting but less successful careers as a polo player and a soldier, as well as working as a warden on a number of African game reserves that required a combination of skills from these last two.
