Karl Gibson's Photo 19 years old and playing more than twice my age as an estranged father and executive in the midst of a family therapy crisis in 'Fathers...& Other Strangers,' written by Jeff Stetson. This was one of those projects that cements your fortitude as a performer and was hands-down one of the most rough behind-the-scenes projects I ever worked on and nearly broke my actor's heart. My director, Chuck Smith, was legend and he was hard on me to the point of deliberately forgetting my name right up until opening night and telling me to my face with snapping fingers that I didn't count. Years later, I was in another show and Mr. Smith came to my press conference and we made amends, privately. The moral of the story: one crushing experience on a set doesn't mean you won't go on to bigger and better - and sometimes you get an apology. Take the high road and work it! #1043445715730181769
