Success Stories: OCT'23 Pitch or Die...

Pitch or Die...

What? You think your stuff's going to get out there if you DON'T pitch it? Maybe the Screenplay Fairy will come to your bed and magically whisk it away and leave a check beneath the pillow? (Ha!! Don't you wish?!!) Of course, it's nerve wracking and you're going to get rejected and blah, blah, blah, whatever. Welcome to writing. (Hell, welcome to life...) BUT -- sometimes it works, and somebody out there actually wants to read your stuff. Today, courtesy of Happy Writers Pitch Sessions, somebody wants to read my stuff. Tomorrow, probably not. But what the hell -- pitch or die; and given my druthers, I'd rather PITCH! So thanks again, Joey and Stage 32, for providing a wonderful forum for pitching. Now, if the Screenplay Fairy does pop in here tonight, I'll certainly put in a good word for everybody. (After I recover from the shock!) But in the meantime, you really should pitch your stuff. Really, you should...

Jan Evans

Hahaha Great post and congrats to you! Yep, I've been pitching up a storm. It seems the Screenplay Fairy is sleeping on the job. Best of luck with your project(s).

Hester Schell

So.... you write comedy?

Terrance Mitchell Thibodeaux

Hi Hester; Well, there's the occasional snarky line or two. But overall, my stuff's actually pretty dark. By nature, I take a fairly dim view of...everything.

Debbie Croysdale

So true, life is never going to happen....unless we make it happen. (Love the tortoiseshell cat)
