I am a writer whose horror screenplay, "Obedience," was a finalist at the 2013 Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville and at the 2013 Peachtree Village International Film Festival in Atlanta. I also have two novels published by WordCrafts Press in Tullahoma, Tennessee: END OF SUMMER, a southern fiction novel, and UNPARDONABLE SIN, a horror novel. My poetry chapbook, FROM FIELD TO THICKET, won the 2006 Mary Belle Campbell Poetry Book Award of the North Carolina Writers' Network, and I have published a collection of my horror poetry, HIDING FROM THE REAPER AND OTHER HORROR POEMS. For you armchair philosophers out there, I have a book just out from WordCrafts Press, AEROBICS FOR THE MIND: PRACTICAL EXERCISES IN PHILOSOPHY THAT ANYBODY CAN DO. I live in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area with my wife, Karen, and our three cats, Frodo, Pippin, and Rosie.
