I'm in the process of writing 2 separate web series. Here's some tips I have already received -- first 10 seconds is key, keep it 3 minutes for comedy and 5 minutes for drama, make sure your sound is really good, social media is very important, and make you are filling a need/niche. Do you any of you more seasoned web series people have any other tips before we dive into the deep end? Thank you ;-)
Hi Laura. It's five months later and I'm curious what you've learned during that time.

I ended up not doing either project as a web series ;-) I turned one into a TV pilot. Then I wrote 3 shorts, 2 of which I am editing now. I may do a web series down the road, but not for some time. How about you?
Sounds like you have done quite a bit! We have our drafts almost completed for a 12 episode five minute comedy series we're planning on shooting in winter. We're meeting with our cinematographer this Sat and we still have to locate a sound mixer to be part of our team. But things look like they're moving along well.

Yea! That's fantastic! Let me know when it's done. I'd love to see it.
I'd like for you to see it, too. :)
