It doesn't make a difference whether it is the first time a screenplay is requested or the 50th. It makes a writer feel special when someone wants to see their work. I pitched this weekend and my script was requested by Maven Pictures. All of us must keep writing, and keep putting our work out there.

I'm still struggling with pitching. Did you do it live or was it written? Did you stick pretty much to the main character's arch through ACT I, ACT II, ACT III or approach it differently?

Hi Kathleen, I did an oral pitch. What I did was I read my script and made notes so that I could give a clear, concise pitch which hit all the important parts; main characters, highlights of Act I, II and II. Tell your pitch from your heart and show who your character is and the journey they must take.
