Introduce Yourself : Tim Nikkel, Filmmaker by Tim Nikkel

Hi, my name is Tim Nikkel. I'm a filmmaker from Denver, Colorado. I've been acting since I was a child and since then have grown to not only appreciate but also enjoy the process of filmmaking. I've expanded my skills from acting to screenwriting to directing to producing to cinematography to editing to all other aspects of the behind the scenes. In writing, my bread and butter is horror and comedy but I've been expanding my horizons into drama, sci-fi/fantasy, and even romantic. I really love to produce and direct because I'm a leader and I have a huge vision. I do enjoy editing but only when I like the film in question, otherwise I'm okay just to do it. So far, I have an award for a short film from a competition called The Package. I've been working on a sketch comedy show called Written Without Consent, which is under revamping. I'm about to upload a short called Pitch Imperfect. And I'm currently editing a number of short films. I'm developing a script (working title) called The Family (a horror) and Evolution of the Dead (horror/sci-fi). I've also started the process of producing and directing my latest film, Badass Bitches Vanquish Vicious Vampires. This will be a concept piece and made into a Grindhouse type movie.
