Plugin Friday - Alchemy is Back (in Logic 10.2)

A little over a week ago, Apple released their new version of Logic 10.2. Among a few need enhancements, they have included Alchemy, which they acquired when they purchased "Camel Audio" at the beginning of 2015. If you are looking for a DAW, and are on a MAC, then Logic gives you the most "Pro DAW" for the money. I would highly recommend the investment of $199. And if you already own Logic, update to 10.2 and try using Alchemy. Alchemy has been one of my favorite sound design/synth tools to date. The ability to get into it and grain, re-synthesize, and the myriad of LFO controls, and it's X-Y pad make it something next-to unbeatable for sound creation. If you aren't into that, well it sounds downright fantastic. Check it out here: http://arstechnica.com/apple/2015/08/free-apple-logic-pro-10-2-update-br... Have a great weekend! -Sam

I have the update and it was a great update. I never knew Alchemy could do show much. The filters alone is worth it for me. Logic has the ES2, Retro Synth and Alchemy for all around sound design & music production.
