Introduce Yourself : Chris Bishop by Chris Bishop

Chris Bishop

I'm new here, but already starting to appreciate the qualities of Stage 32. I'm a freelance film maker, and Director of Photography. I also work as part of a crew via Media Agencies creating Ads for TV and sometimes Corporate promotions. I'm also known for various music creations under a different name, but my passion and focus is film making. I run various websites and currently working on various filming projects - many with Terry Oldfield (a member of Stage 32) Future projects include a series called "Sacred Spaces" and a special cinematic feature for a forthcoming Album. I don't get a great deal of free time, but I will share clips and various projects when I can - I also look forward to making friends with other members here, and taking an interest in what's going on.

Hi Chris Which media agencies do you work with? Good to meet you, Gareth

Chris Bishop

I'm based in Kent (UK) but often work anywhere in the World, Erin. Gareth ... for the last few years I've been working with Director Jason Knott through a London Agency called 'Horton-Stephens' which directly, and sometimes indirectly, works with, and often through other Agencies worldwide. This a page to some recent Ads http://www.hortonsshortuns.com And as mentioned, I also work freelance either on my own or with a small crew (depending on the job) Cheers guys! Chris

And, Erin ... Genre wise (commercially) I have little choice, but when working Freelance, I tend to aim myself towards nature and beautiful locations, but I also enjoy Story Telling, so filming Drama's (Shorts) is also cool, and very enjoyable as I love working with likeminded people. In that respect, I'm open minded to the genre - unless its 'B' movie styled horror, which I'm not keen on at all.
