Cinematography : Getting the angle right by Michael Edward Reif

Getting the angle right

Why does it seem like movies should be shot at right angles to me right now? The thought just crossed my mind and I don't know why. Right angles are 90 degrees and remind me of profiles so why is that important right now. Could it be a message has just been passed to me to deliver to the world. We usually see movies at 180 degree angles or face forward so why does looking off to one side seem so impressive and urgent to explore in cinematography? Is it because dialog is really important and if we were to use more panoramic scenes and side ways observation maybe the films would be even more interesting. I'll have to explore this even more.
