Producing : Whose reponsibility? by Michael Wearing

Hi Guys, I was doing a script breakdown and I have a number of scenes where one of the props is an item of clothing that then becomes worn by a character in a different scene. It seems to me that Wardrobe should probably be responsible for the item including when its used as a prop, but would just like to get some feedback as to whether any of you have an alternative view.
